The annual membership is for one person only; it is not transferable. The photo allows us to check you in and out quickly.
Payment up front: unlike other fitness centre operators, we do not charge additional fees to members who pay up front.
Payment by monthly instalment: we charge a one-off administration fee of CHF 69 for memberships that are paid by monthly instalment (first year only; not in subsequent years). You will need to buy a chip wristband for CHF 10 regardless of which membership you choose.
Yes, you can pay for your annual membership in handy monthly instalments. You can buy annual membership from the reception at your Fitnesspark or in the online shop. The minimum term is 12 months.
Cancelling a membership
Payment up front: you will receive a renewal notice with an invoice a few weeks before your membership expires. If you don’t pay for the renewal, your annual membership will simply expire. If you renew your membership seamlessly, you will receive a loyalty bonus of CHF 100.
Payment by monthly instalment: annual memberships that are paid by monthly instalment renew automatically unless they are cancelled at least 60 days prior to expiry.
The contract can only be cancelled in cases of hardship – such as long-term illness, accidents or a definitive move away (change of domicile) from the movemi AG catchment area (>30 kilometres) – but you are not entitled to a refund as a matter of course. You will need to submit your membership contract to a Fitnesspark together with a written application and the necessary confirmations, such as doctor’s note, employer confirmation, proof of resident’s registration, etc. You will be refunded for the remaining term of the contract in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
Yes – of course. We will refund any remaining credit for up to one year after your contract expires. Please go to the reception at your Fitnesspark for this.

Classes

No – if you wish to attend classes, this always includes use of the entire centre.
If you have Fit annual membership, you can do one trial session free of charge. Please see reception about this. If you’re not a member, you can buy a single-admission ticket for CHF 39.-. If you then decide to buy an annual membership within seven days, this CHF 39.- will be credited to your chip wristband.
Yes – please see reception about this. The reception staff will be happy to give you a price for upgrading to Swiss Fit membership.
Yes – you can book a class up to 24 hours in advance on the website or in the Fitnesspark app.
Our classes are open to people of all ages. The level of fitness, stamina, strength and coordination required varies from class to class. Older members particularly like the Aqua Fitness, pelvic floor exercise, back exercise and Vital Fit classes, as they are easier on the joints.
It depends on the class. While louder music helps exercisers to achieve peak performance in power hours, such as MyPOWER®, Zumba® or FunTone®, things are somewhat quieter in the Pilates and yoga classes, for instance. In any case, we comply with the statutory requirements and also offer free earplugs – available from the dispensers in the classrooms.
“My” is the quality label for choreographed classes at the Fitnessparks. In contrast to freestyle classes, choreographed classes have a fixed format. There is a new training series with new choreography every three months. MyPOWER® is a barbell-based full-body workout, MyCORE® is a core/abdominal workout, MyFLOW® is fitness yoga.
No – you are not allowed to use the classrooms unsupervised.
It depends on the season, time of day, class type and instructor. Please ask the Fitnesspark staff for more information about this. The number of available spaces in the classes can be seen in the class reservation area on the website or in the Fitnesspark app.
Booked appointments
If you wish to cancel a massage, consultancy or personal training appointment, you need to do this at least 24 hours in advance – otherwise, you will be charged for it.
No – your voucher is no longer valid, as we reserved this appointment solely for you and/or booked a masseur/masseuse for you.
We cannot refund you, as we reserved this appointment solely for you and/or booked a masseur/masseuse for you.
We have no option but to charge you for the booked appointment, i.e. we cannot refund the amount you paid up front, as we reserved staff and a time slot solely for you.
House rules
You can read our house rules here on our website.
When using a smartphone or other smart device, you should not disturb the privacy of other exercisers. Please keep the volume of your smartphone at a level that does not disturb other members. You are not allowed to photograph or film other people anywhere at the centre, as this constitutes an invasion of privacy. Devices with cameras are prohibited in the nude zone.
Music simply makes things easier – for most but not all people. We therefore opted for a compromise in the form of quiet background music; it’s loud enough to be audible, but quiet enough to be inaudible when you’re listening to your own device through headphones. For those who prefer complete calm, earplugs are available from the dispensers in the classrooms.
For safety reasons, closed-toe training shoes must always be worn when working out in the fitness arena. You are not allowed to work out barefoot or in flip-flops. You can hire training shoes at reception – subject to availability.
It’s annoying when we forget things. You will find (almost) everything you need for carefree training available for hire or sale at reception. Availability may vary from park to park.
Yes – you can show your ID at reception and sign in on a list.
Yes – if you lose your chip wristband, you will need to buy a new one for CHF 10.
Suggestions and constructive criticism help us to keep on improving our services – and we’re always particularly happy to receive praise. The Fitnesspark app has a feedback feature. Tap My profile > Give feedback. Or use the contact form here on the website. You can also just speak to a fitness consultant or one of the reception staff at the park, of course.

General questions
Career
Top quality is important to us – and this begins with training. Our trainers are fully qualified wellness trainers, fitness coaches or fitness instructors (Club School, SAFS, BSA or IFFA) with a wealth of professional experience. It’s best to study at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) or the Swiss Federal Institute of Sport in Magglingen.
The Fitnessparks and ACTIV FITNESS offer Group Fitness courses together with star-education and the SAFS. See the “Jobs” section for more information. You will need a solid basic education and plenty of know-how when it comes to training, sports science and dealing with people.
Vacant positions are posted on the Migros jobs portal.
Miscellaneous
All Fitnessparks are recognised by Qualitop. The Qualitop label is a sign of quality in exercise and health promotion. Most health insurers will pay some of your annual membership fee, the reason being that prevention is better than cure. Our partner SWICA offers Fitnesspark members an exclusive prevention discount of up to CHF 800. Visit www.qualitop.ch to find out which health insurers will pay some of your membership fee. You can easily download your health insurance confirmation in the members’ area.
You can always count on a high standard of quality and hygiene at the Fitnessparks. We comprehensively maintain the equipment, baths and saunas during these closures. Closure times are staggered so that, when your Fitnesspark is closed, you can still work out at another Fitnesspark nearby – depending on your membership type.
