We are entering an exciting new phase. In 2026, Fitnesspark Winterthur will undergo a comprehensive transformation and is expected to reopen at the end of September in a completely new dimension: more modern, more spacious and even more welcoming – designed to elevate your training and wellness experience.
The project will be completed in several phases:
- June 29 – July 12, 2026: Annual maintenance & preparation
- From July 13 to end of September 2026: Renovation while operating
- From end of September 2026 (expected): Grand reopening
Yes – with one exception:
During maintenance (June 29 – July 12), the club is fully closed
From July 13 onwards, it remains open in a fully equipped temporary facility in the same building
From July 13, you will train in a modern temporary space located next to the current entrance.
Available facilities include:
- Strength and cardio training
- EGYM circuit
- Bistro
Phase 1 – Maintenance & launch (June 29 – July 12)
Full closure. Members can access all ACTIV FITNESS clubs.
Phase 2 – Temporary training (from July 13)
Fitness area relocated. Classes, massages, bistro and childcare continue.
Phase 3 – Return to the Original Building (from approximately mid-September)
Reopening of wellness, changing areas, showers, reception and bistro.
Phase 4 – Finalisation & reopening (end of September)
Full reopening of the new Fitnesspark Winterthur.
Fit membership:
Complimentary access to all ACTIV FITNESS clubs.
Swiss Fit membership:
Full access remains unchanged.
Yes:
- Period: July 13 – end of September 2026
- Duration: 1–2 months
- Flexible timing possible
The paused period is fully credited to your membership.
Via the online form by June 21.
Yes, throughout the renovation in the temporary space.
From end of September 2026 (expected).
Expect an elevated, premium fitness and wellness environment.
Yes, depending on availability.
No, everyone can take a break.
Requests are accepted, but not retroactively.
Yes, in other Fitnessparks and selected ACTIV FITNESS locations.

Throughout the construction phase, classes will take place in Arena 1. As we only have one arena available, the timetable will be somewhat reduced. The timetable will be announced in May.
Not currently – updates will be communicated if needed.
Occasionally, yes. Work is planned to minimise disruption.
No, the membership fee will not be increased as a result of the refurbishment.
