Why Revisions Are Necessary – and What the Floor Has to Do with It

A revision is more than just a deep clean:
During this annual closure period, we inspect, clean, and maintain all areas of the Fitnesspark – from equipment and ventilation to flooring. This ensures that everything functions smoothly and that you can feel completely comfortable during your workout.

We’re kicking things off with the first focus topic: the floors.

Why all this effort?
Simple – because your training should be not only effective, but also safe and comfortable, every single day.

Our floors at Fitnesspark truly go through a lot: they support you during intense workouts, absorb dropped weights with ease, and withstand thousands of steps every day.

To ensure they can handle all of this and continue to offer the best possible conditions, we invest every year in careful maintenance, thorough cleaning, and – where needed – targeted renewal.

That’s why, during each revision period, we clean, maintain, and renew over 35,000 m² of flooring – that’s more than five football fields!

To draw a timely comparison: just as Switzerland is currently preparing to be in top form for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, we’re making sure everything is ready for peak performance – every single day.

Whether it’s non-slip rubber flooring in the strength area, hygienic surfaces in the wet zones, or parquet in the group fitness rooms – every square metre is carefully inspected and, if needed, fully refurbished.
This is true precision work – for your safety, your comfort, and a workout experience that feels like day one.
